Reply with quote | #4 | I have upgraded from SUAnimate Version 2.02 to SUAnimate 3.0. I can run all of the tests and demos, but when I try to start from scratch one of two things happen:
1. When I double-click to finish the path, the dialog box for selecting the object to animate comes up blank and then, after about two seconds, SU crashes (see attachment)- or
2. The dialog box appears, but none of my groups appear so I can animate them. I've even tried it on one of the demo .skp: When I add a group, it does not appear as a choice.
Intel Mac Pro, SU7 Pro, OS X 10.5.8, 16GB Ram, 3.7TB drive space Intel iMac, SU7 Pro, OS X 10.5.8, 4 GB Ram, 750GB drive space
Model: A single rectangular block grouped as "block" on Layer "block"
All of this was resolved by SUAnimate's David Wayne. 1. There is a bug in the Mac version of SUA: you have to end the creation of a path with right-click/done. You cannot double-click to finish. 2. Make sure that View Edges is turned on. 3. Make sure the object you are moving is a group, not a component. The group can have components in it.
Many thanks to David.
